Bbq Salmon

This bbq salmon is for those who like a little bit of zip in their lives.Crushed red pepper flakes, ginger, garlic, soy and balsamic vinegar are combined in this delicious zesty marinade for salmon. Exactly what you might expect from this easy salmon recipe also known as Firecracker salmon.
For barbeque salmon you will need: 8 (4 ounce) salmon fillets For the Salmon Marinade Recipe: 1/2 cup peanut or canola oil 4 tablespoons soy sauce 4 tablespoons balsamic vinegar 4 tablespoons green onions, chopped 3 teaspoons brown sugar 2 cloves garlic, minced 1 1/2 teaspoons ground ginger 2 teaspoons crushed red pepper flakes 1 teaspoon sesame oil
In a mixing bowl, whisk together peanut oil, soy sauce, vinegar, green onions, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, red pepper flakes, sesame oil. Place salmon fillets in a large Ziploc bag pour salmon marinade over top, and seal. Place salmon fillets in refrigerator and marinate for 4 to 6 hours. How to grill salmon: Lightly oil a charcoal or gas grill to prevent the fish from sticking. The rack should be placed about 3 inches from heat source and the fire should be quite hot. Place the salmon skin-side down on the grate. As for how long to grill salmon, count on 10 minutes of cooking time per inch of thickness based on the thickest part of the fillet. Flip fish fillets over halfway between cooking. When it’s cooked the texture of the fish will be flaky. This grilled salmon recipe serves 8.
