For this easy vegetable recipe you will need: 1 pound fresh green beans 1 tablespoon fresh chives, chopped 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped 2 teaspoons unsalted butter 1/2 teaspoon stone-ground mustard Salt and freshly cracked black pepper to taste
How to steam green beans:Trim the stringy ends from the beans, but for a different presentation leave them whole. Steam green beans, covered, 5 minutes or until crisp-tender. Toss steamed beans with fresh herbs, butter, and mustard. Season with salt and pepper. This green beans recipe serves 4.
