Chicken Fajita Recipe


Here's a chicken fajita recipe that is quick and simple.

Top each fajita with loads of chunky salsa, diced avocado and a dollop or two of sour cream...

For chicken fajitas you will need:

1 tablespoon oil, olive or vegetable

1 onion, sliced

2 garlic cloves, minced

1 sweet pepper, sliced

4 skinless, boneless chicken breasts, sliced into strips

1 ½ teaspoons chili powder

1 ½ teaspoons cumin

Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

8 warm flour tortillas

1 cup salsa (mild or hot)

1 avocado, diced

1 cup sour cream



In a large frying pan over medium heat oil and add onion, garlic, pepper, chicken strips, chili powder, cumin, salt and pepper.

Stir frequently until chicken is cooked (about 8 to 10 minutes).

Spoon mixture over warm tortillas.

Top each fajita with salsa, avocado and sour cream.
