Grilled Corn on the Cob



Grilled corn on the cob tastes great on its own, but basted with garlic cilantro butter as it is in this corn on the cob recipe it only gets better.

Here, corn on the cob is grilled with the husks pulled back so the kernels feel the full effect of the fire.


For bbq corn on the cob you will need:

1 stick salted butter, at room temperature

2 cloves garlic, minced

3 tablespoons finely chopped fresh cilantro

Freshly ground black pepper

8 ears of fresh corn, husks tied back and silk removed

Salt to taste.


How to barbecue corn on the cob

Light a hot fire in the grill.

Place butter in a bowl, and whisk in the garlic, cilantro and pepper.

Brush a little butter on corn.

Place the ears of corn on the grill so the tied husks hang over the edge.

Grill corn until nicely browned on all sides, 2 to 3 minutes a side, basting with garlic cilantro butter.

Brush bbq corn on the cob once more with butter, and season with salt and pepper before serving.

This barbequed corn on the cob serves 4 to 8.
