Orange Chicken Recipe
This orange chicken recipe is great for the kids too: It's not too hot and they'll enjoy the familiar taste of orange juice.
For orange chicken you will need: ½ cup chicken bouillon 1 tablespoon orange juice concentrate 1 tablespoon soy sauce 2 teaspoons cornstarch Freshly ground black pepper 1 to 2 tablespoons vegetable oil 4 skinless, boneless chicken breasts sliced into thin strips 1 garlic clove, minced 3 green onions, sliced 4 carrots, thinly sliced
In a bowl whisk together bouillon, orange juice concentrate, soy sauce, cornstarch and pepper. In a frying pan or wok heat the oil and when it’s hot add the chicken breasts. Stirfry for 2 minutes on a medium-high heat. Add garlic, onions, carrots and bouillon mixture. Stir until sauce is thickened and vegetables and chicken are cooked (about 4-6 minutes). Season to taste. This recipe for orange chicken serves 4.
