Teriyaki Chicken Recipe


This simple teriyaki chicken recipe makes use of powdered ginger and mustard to give it a peppery flavor.

Enjoy it over steamed rice.

For chicken teriyaki you will need:

1 tablespoon melted butter

1 ½ teaspoons dry mustard

4 bone-in chicken breasts

2 tablespoons soy sauce

2 tablespoons liquid honey

¼ teaspoon ground ginger

¼ teaspoon garlic powder


Preheat oven to 350 F

In a small bowl mix together melted butter and dry mustard.

In a shallow baking dish, place chicken breasts skin-side up and brush with butter mixture.

Bake uncovered for 20 minutes. Drain fat from pan.

In small bowl stir together soy sauce and honey, ginger and garlic powder. Pour over chicken.

Bake chicken uncovered for additional 30 minutes, basting often.
