Turkey Burger Recipe


This turkey burger recipe calls for lean ground turkey and grated zucchini.

Try these low-fat turkey burgers between toasted whole wheat hamburger rolls and garnish with thick tomato slices, salsa or other toppings of your choice.

For this turkey burgers recipe you will need:

1 egg

½ lemon, peel finely grated

Freshly ground salt and pepper to taste

1 small zucchini, grated and squeezed dry

¼ cup dry bread crumbs

1 jalapeno, seeded and finely chopped

1 green onion, sliced

4 hamburger rolls, toasted


Whisk together egg, lemon peel, salt and pepper.

Stir in turkey, zucchini, bread crumbs, jalapeno, onions

Form into 4 patties, each about a ¾ inch thickness.

Grill for about 7 to 12 minutes per side on a greased grill surface.
